Spark launched socialiser – 1gb of free data for Facebook & Twitter.  Also $19 for 50 mins, 500 texts, 500mb and most importantly Spotify Premium.
It's unlikely 2degrees can get Spotify now, but the question is whether they can offer anything else.  Socialiser is extremely tempting, and I'm considering jumping ship after being with 2d since launch.
It'd be good to see them offer something more competitive now – only bonus being with 2d is Carryover Minutes & Data and Unlimited text.  Spotify Premium is $10+ value right there, it'd be nice to see 2d do something to compete.
I'd hate to leave 2d, but if nothing changes I might have to.
Look forward to (hopefully) seeing some updates to the $19 plan.

This thread is more intended to see what 2d can offer to compete.

2degrees' Australian data pack might be a good reason to stay with them. I'm not sure whether Spark have anything similar.

That's true, I completely forgot about that.  Minutes to Texts and Australia included on 2d, that's actually pretty important to me.

Hmm, well Google Play direct carrier billing went live yesterday, though it won't be for a few more days that Google will offer it to 100% of Android users.

Free Google Music all access would be nice :P

How much data do people use on Facebook? I am lucky if I use more than 2~300mb/mth through the FB android app so not sure its a dealbreaker for me

I think facebook is the main thing people use their data for

Well actually I think it's more of the content inside Facebook (i.e the external links) that most people use Facebook for, and that won't help them with this new Socialiser thing. Unless, do the Facebook hosted videos count?

If 2d was to offer something similar, having Snapchat too would be nice.  Snapchat is my personal biggest data user, followed by Chrome, then Twitter & Facebook pretty much tied.

Just supply more standard data, far easier to implement.

My dad is about to move to 2degrees. He's a Spotify premium user, but on the $39 postpaid plan he doesn't get free spotify, even tho cheaper plans and prepaid do.

On 2D he will get the same minutes but will be able to use them to Oz, and also his minutes and data will rollover whereas they don't on Spark.

Not free data. But think you can save the songs on your phone, so only need to download data first time listen to each song.
On the other thread noticed someone say that there's a $19 music prepay pack to, I think Sparks onto a winner here for people that like music on the go, be hard for others to compete.

Doesn't interest me that much so I'll stay with 2degrees, but if it did it would be tempting.
