How long should it take to get a chorus engineer when switching fibre provider from WXC to slingshot?

I am trying to change providers. I arranged with Slingshot on 24 Jan and they told me 7 to 10 days.

I have contacted slingshot on several occasions asking for an update but all they can tell me is that they are waiting for Chorus.

After my most recent conversation with Slingshot on Wednesday 18 Feb they advised that they would contact Chorus to get an estimated install date and call me back….I’m still waiting.

I hope this level of services from Slingshot isn't a sign of things to come

Hey Nikoftime,

Just to let you know I switched from WXC to Slingshot some years ago. No regrets from me. Slingshot are pretty great, I would recommend using the Geekzone forum /PM as the best means of contact though - you get straight to the experts rather than a customer service rep.
