Help people,

I feel I am hitting my head ageist a brick wall. as I recently upgraded my internet from ADSL to VDSL as it was slow, now I'm having the problem where I have next to no internet.

I have tried putting another working modem here and still the same thing, I have tried the ethanet cable, still same thing. I would much rather have slow internet then no internet.

I have requested to go back on ADSL but nope not aloud to.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. ova it aye.

Was a master filter installed when you were connected to VDSL?

When did you get it installed? We had issue that started on Thursday morning with slingshot fibre dropping and reconnecting every 5 seconds. It was fixed yesterday afternoon by a change on their end.
Could be the same thing as ours was really slow/not working.

Maybe start by looking at Chorus map and determining if you are in a VDSL area, https://www.chorus.co.nz/broadband-options/for-business/broadband-map

Then post the attenuation and sync figures from the modem.

According to that page Im in a area that can get fibre. Am also in a VDSL area. just want to change to ADSL where I had no trouble. I got changed on Wednesday by my choice and have had nothing but trouble. Spoken to 6 people at Slingshot, reconfigured the modem restarted my computer, mobiles, xbox 360, tablet and the modem. Using the yellow ethanet cable, still nothing. In the time i have been writting this it has disconnected 3 times. Over it. im not paying $94 for nothing.

Advise the modem and I'll read the manual for you.

EDIT: If Slingshot won't switch you back to ADSL (would incur a fee with Chorus) then cancel service (may incur a fee for breaking the contract).

Not quite sure how a capture of above helps us other than indicates that you are connecting via wireless. Please explain and advise, hopefully with the relevant numbers from the modem.
