Now you mention it, my IPv6 has also gone missing. In Nelson, using an nf4v, "IPv6 Status" says Connected but no address.

It's been down for a while now. Perhaps around the same time as I noticed a change in the mac for the dhcp server.

IPv6 has never been turned on for UFB in Auckland.

Earlier this year there was a lot of talk about "real soon now" but then nothing...

Mine eventually came back on, with a couple of shorter outages since. It feels like it is still in beta testing.

Hi

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't seem to get my Orcon UFB to obtain IPv6 using PFSense.
I tried every possible combination of tick-boxes, mainly focusing on the same setup that appears to be working with my work's Vodafone UFB, also on PFSense (hence the IPv6 badge).
Does Orcon support IPv6 in Auckland?
If yes what's the correct setup.

Thanks,
Damian

Oh, that's a bit of a kick in the teeth.
Is there a reason for this? Their website says they are offering IPv6, no Auckland exclusion mentioned.

OK

I think I just answered my own question.
After talking to Orcon on the phone the info is:
- website is misleading about status of IPv6 availability and will be changed to reflect reality
- reality is that there is no support for IPv6 on Orcon

Might think of moving to Voda or 2D in that case, both seem to support it.

Not quite true.

We currently support IPV6 on Most access types (as the document says)

Currently we are just missing Auckland UFB from the list. This is a work in progress and should be resolved in the next couple of weeks. It requires a reboot of one of our BNG's which causes an outage to Auckland UFB, which isn't ideal and has to be carefully planned.

Thanks for the clarification.
The post reflected what I was told on the phone to support, nothing more.
I was also told there is no ETA on IPv6 availability so to hear it might be only 2 week away is great.
Thanks for the update.
