Just noticed that the unlimited monthly plan is now $85 which was $95 not so long ago and the 1000/500 speed boost is now $30 instead of $45 and 12 month contract instead of 24 months with $200 credit. Good work!

That is good news - I always thought their $95/month price wasn't really competitive with the market leaders

People must've seen through the $59 first year / $95 second year palindromic pricing thing .

They were (at least this time last year) the only ISP in New Zealand that not only offered IPv6, but also the reverse delegation on the ip6.arpa domain. Things might have changed with other ISPs in the last twelve months Neither are of major interest to regular users, but it was the thing that swayed me to them over other ISPs.. And there gig fibre is pretty damn rock solid, other than a brief two hour outage.
Hopefully existing customers get the updated pricing at the start of the next billing month.
As my account in the portal still shows $95 for base plan, and $44.95 speed boost.

I'm not on contract, can I be moved to the new prices? @2degreescare
My 2degrees username is the same as here.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
As @billgates said you can request to change to the $85 price if you're not on a term. The lower price for Speed Boosts will take effect from next bill, no action needed.

You can change to the lower price on Your 2degrees Broadband, just click "Change Plan" and follow the prompts. This will take effect from your next bill. You can also PM us with your customer number/username, address and Date of Birth and we can get it sorted for you.
Cheers, ^BRM

the static IP price is still 10$ a month under the new pricing? might have switched back with this new pricing if it was back to the 5$ a month it originally was
I currently pay $5 a month for my static IPv4 & /56 IPv6 - this was on the $95 a month so the new plan would save a minimum of $5 if this price has increased.

Sorry Dan, Static IPs are currently $10 a month. New IPv4 address are a bit few and far between sadly!
