Friend of mine lives out this way just north of Albany and they have had a 2degrees site built in the last 18 months line of site but it has no 4G on it

@2degreescare can you check with anyone in the RAN team if 4G is going to be added to this site anytime soonish?

Thanks

I'm sure when I'm out at the BIL's place in Kaukapakapa I get LTE.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

According to the info on GIS Geek for this location is a 3G 900 and 2100 MHZ site.

@SaltyNZ Correct Kaukapakapa does have 4G and all sites around the area but not the Dairy Flat site which I thought was odd

@Linex are you able to PM us your phone number and the location details?
I have checked in with the RAN team and they are wanting to look into this further.

Cheers

Cellmapper.net shows that site as only 900Mhz UTMS. Last update looks to be July this year so things may have changed since then.

There aren't many that map in NZ, 2D is the least mapped network.

so not sure if it really counts as much of a source compared to RSM

100% U900 only. Any LTE coverage you'll get in the area will be overlapping L900 (closest by) or L1800 (bit further out but higher priority due to more BW).

Next to zero LTE coverage around the area until you get closer to Silverdale driving North

I'm sure 2degrees will be out in Blue Helicopter soon to deploy the 4G upgrade to this site :)

@2degreescare @morganbrowne Was out Dairy Flat in the weekend and this site still only 3G 900Mhz bolted on it

I was advised by 2d back in December 2018 that the site was going to get 4G in the new year 2019 (no fixed date but early 2019)

Any updates / plans?

Edit: The 2degrees coverage map reflects good 4G coverage in the area of Dairy flat highway 31 even where the 3G only site is located and it has zero 4G only 3G 900Mhz

Thanks
