I am about to come off my 1 year contract next month, I will probably roll into another 1 year contract but being able to get the $200 discount that is usually a new sign on bonus would make it definite. How likely do people think this would be? If I can't get this I will probably shop around for a new deal at least to see if I can get a deal that would make it worthwhile changing.

Here is my Quic referral https://account.quic.nz/refer/39513 if you are keen to change ISP and to get free setup (save $29). I will get a $50 credit if you use this.  Thank you very much if you use my link but I'm sure there are quite a few others who could share the same on here, no hard feelings if you use a different link.

You’ll only know after you try, but I can’t see why not, especially if you get put onto the retention team if you pay more than their bottom margin can manage.

2Degrees are also offering a year of Amazon Prime on Broadband contracts at the moment...

I renewed our 2degrees UFB contract after coming off last contract with them last month and they honoured the $200 promo credit very happily.

Thank you all, I called 2degrees and asked for the retention team and they happily applied the $200 discount for me.
