Not having used 2degrees in over 5 years I decided to switch to. Two months in now I am really regretting it.

Call quality is seriously terrible. I use my phone for a lot of voice calls. It is critical that I can hear people on the other end. Several times now I've actually had to hang up the call and then dial back using a SIP client on my phone using mobile data.

My biggest motivator for switching to 2degrees was if I went on the pool data plan with carryover, I could throw data at various things meaning I could easily drop a SIM into my tablets/laptops/IOT devices without having to pay for an additional data subscription. But I am not willing to sacrifice call quality to get that.

Is it just me that has such a problem with this? I can't imagine 2d's entire user base is OK with this level of service?

My handset is an iPhone 12 Pro Max running 14.4.1 purchased from Apple NZ. I've tried all the various settings - 3G only, 4G only, VoLTE on/off, Wi-Fi calling. Nothing has helped.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
