Anyone have any ideas/thoughts about this? We have a TP-Link wireless router (Broadcom chipset). I've tried an older router when the Internet is down, and it connects fine but still no Internet. So I'm guessing that the problem is at the Orcon end.

kerrin: When I first started with Orcon+ my router would freeze up occasionally, when it didn't with XNET.
Rebooting the router would resolve for a couple of days at best. Upgrading the firmware resolved permanently.
Eg. This billing month which is almost complete, I'm showing as having only 1 disconnect which was due to me rebooting for a router configuration change.
brookz: I have this very same problem. But it doesn't just stop at the internet, My phone also goes dead for 30mins to an hour + then suddenly just starts working again
StarUK17: I have just changed ISP to Orcon and I get a line drop about every 30 mins I am beginning to wish I had never changed. Orcon just do not help says it is my PC. Was OK with my last provider so why now. Then they suggested that my PC was not fast enough ..... I have a quad core PC cannot get much better than that as I know of. 8Gb of RAM and nothing else running except internet and still the line drops.
Any help on tweeks would be grateful as I am getting real pissed off
