Is there currently something wrong with the network? I'm on the platinum+ plan living in Epsom.
During peak hours I'm recieving very slow connection speeds and I'm unable to play WoW (getting DC, etc).
Also slow and unstable speedtest results to several international servers.

Started happening 2 days ago.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Odd same thing here - Crap to LA, I was told there was quite a few complaints over the weekend but no known issue.

He did something to my line, rebooted the modem and back to normal, very weird!

I know youtube is crap, and we are working on it.

but for LA speeds etc, I am getting some pretty good speeds. Maybe I am using all your bandwidth!

Can you go into more details on your crappy local speeds?

That shouldn't be the case. We have huge amount of spare capacity locally.

Well, I rang it today and the guy reset my line and something else.

basically,

I USUALLY get around 15mbps locally.

tonight, things were running slow, and i was trying to pull a game from Slingshots servers. Usually, when I download a file from them, i get around 1.8mb/s

Now, today, i was getting 200KB/s MAX

so i decided to run some speeds tests (which was also advised by the helpdesk person I spoke to).

this is a bit of an upgrade from earlier today, but still nothing like it used to be.

I've done numerous isolation tests, tried different ports in the house, had my line reset, etc etc etc.

Location: Stanmore Bay, Auckland.

What more would you like to know?

and my sync rates are fine, like usual.

Can you buy some more capacity internationally then?

Aaroona , I will do some digging for you.

You should be able to get your sync rate from most local sites. Especially Peering connected sites.
