So we are moving house and signed up to slingshot slightly over two weeks ago. And despite calling slingshot every day to find out what is going on, our adsl is still not connected.
Firstly, someone put Mt Eden rather than Newmarket on the worksheet so it took a week or so telecom to figure out where our house is. Eventually they sent a chorus person out to us on Saturday 7th may who connected up the phone line and said that the broadband had been connected also, but we didn't have a modem at that time to test it.
The line appears to be connected since the line can sync, but the authentication is failing, so I'm not sure what stage it is actually at. If I login with the same details on the slingshot website, the login works but there is no internet plan on the account.
As I said we have constantly calling slingshot every day but nobody seems to know anything about when our line will be connected.
Argh. Got to love it when slingshot and telecom can just pass the blame around and nobody actually does anything to get the line connected.
