Hi all,

I wanted to start this thread as another way of letting you know about outages and ‘known Issues’.

I will do my best to keep it up to date with every known issue/outage we have so please look here if you are experiencing any issues (Especially if the call centre is busy)

Very good point and this is the main reason I joined geekzone as slingshots forum/network updates is useless.

Hi All,

This outage listed is on our network status page.
Granted it is not as clear and easy to read as this version but I am working on getting that changed.

I think the sticky idea is a good idea too, also if we can keep posts to a minimum it will keep this easy to read and find info on.

**PLANNED OUTAGE** - Mobile Only.

DATE : 29/03/12
NZ Standard Time : 06:00:00 AM
DURATION (HR:MIN:SEC) : 013:00:00

PROBLEM
Mobile customers in the Churton area, Wellington City may experience multiple breaks in service between 06:00 - 19:00 on the 29th March.
This is due to a network fault investigation on the Ohariu Valley Mobile Phone Site (WOHU).

Please note, we are unable to advise on the number/duration of the outages in the outage window.

Todays issue wasn't mentioned here but was a 12+ hour break that effected Calling, iTalk, Tolls, LLU Data, Calling and Dialup users in Manatwatu, Gisborne, Napier, Palmerston North, Levin.
Start: 15/04/2012 12:00:00 a.m. End: 15/04/2012 3:50:00 p.m.

I guess Joe was too busy getting married or having his honeymoon to deal with this. :) congratulation Joe
