bernardgbailey: On this topic sort of...
Is there a documented process to export recordings to a usb connected drive or copy across the network?
Cheers
Bernard
PS.. I'm impressed by the response from DishTV; infinitely better than Samsung. And not just because DishTV are in the TRON either :-)
The T2200 can also access SMB shared folders on computers too via the local network.

bernardgbailey: "Yes! You can copy files from the built in drive to a portable USB drive, you can also vise versa this and get files into the hard drive too, The T2200 can also access SMB shared folders on computers too via the local network."
Is this copy function work on the T1050-PVR or is it different method?
Cheers Bernard

Jase2985: Just brought the T2200 today
Couple of things:
- the unit is covered in protective plastic, but the warranty void sticker is on top of this plastic making it impossible to remove the plastic without damaging/removing this sticker.
- when the unit is off/in standby mode it is not passing RF through the RF output on the back of the unit, so what ever is connected after the t2200 gets no signal
Its looking and feeling like a very capable unit, it just needs some polishing

Can you please call our phone team on Monday and their team can determine it its a fault with the RF output or just a few settings that need tweaking.
- there are a tonne of acronyms on the onscreen menus that are not even touched on in the manual, it would be nice when you highlight something it said on the screen what it did, there is space under the little picture on the left. i dont want to have to open the manual each time i find something i dont know
- "Timeshift - You can set the maximum length the unit will time-shift to" what does that mean?
- if i press the media button im taken to the USB page of the media center, if i press it again nothing happens, why not make it so it takes you to the UPnP page or one of the other Media type functions. I used UPnP a lot through the TV at the moment. The t2200 is very cumbersome when it comes to getting to this.
- there is a favorite button but nothing at all in the manual as to what it does or how to use it
Its looking and feeling like a very capable unit, it just needs some polishing
