I would of. But it looks like JC Matthew is a 2 person operation, and the 2 people were not there!
I spoke to the general manager yesterday and arranged to drop the unit off today. JC Matthew is run out of the basement of a computer store. I labeled the box very carefully and copied my receipt so hopefully It will be sorted out soon.

I was told over the phone yesterday that it is likely a HDCP Handshaking issue. Will keep you posted as the situation progresses

Just got off the phone with them. It turns out the unit has a faulty hdmi output. And the picture dropped out during testing.

They are going to replace it for me. Get to pick the new one up on Monday. Hopefully no more issues!

Got the new box. No more issues. Old one must have just been a dud.

Now if only they'd do something about repeat recordings being skipped.  Did you get any contact details for them?  I initally had good correspondence with them, but haven't heard anything lately.
