 joshhill96:
Sorry for the late one, The unit can handle up to 4 offsets at the same time so there should be no change with back to back shows.
There will be no issues and everything should record fine.

Hi Josh.

I'm looking at retiring my media centre PC which has 3 terrestrial and one satellite tuner but require the ability to be able to record 4 shows at once (back to back shows on two channels, extra requirement from geekiegeek).

EG I wish to have 2 minutes padding at the beginning and 5 minutes padding at the end of each recording and record "3 News" followed by "Story" on TV3 and record two similar back to back programs on another channel and have the padding on each recording. With 4 offsets available I should be able to do this.  Has anyone actually done this? geekiegeek, did you get one?

I have read that some people are having issues with the unit when doing multiple recordings. Is this issue likely to be fixed or are you hitting limitations in the hardware under certain conditions?

I hope this unit gets the issues sorted. Regards Allen

BuckoNZ: Just witnessed something odd. Just a minute ago, just saw my T2200 (which isn't completely setup yet) boot up on it's own and then power down again.

Any ideas?

OK, just seen the unit do it again - about 5 minutes ago.

Some of the screen messages were (in no particular order):
Load
Boot
Stdby

Hello. I have been reading a number of these posts regarding the T2200 including the latest ones from this month with a view of buying one to replace our Sky digital box.

Can someone just clarify one thing for me?  Will I be able to stream movies using the T2200 (with the wifi connection and broadband) from sources other than TV ondemand or do I have to connect another network device like the chromecast or via our PC or tablets for those external movies, Youtube etc...

Thanks in advance for any advise.

you will need another way to stream content, you can only use ondemand services or if you have the file on your network/USB device you can watch from there

Not sure where Jase got his information from, however in my experience the T2200 is a DLNA certified device and plays content from my NAS (network attached storage) device just fine.

Thanks for that feedback.  So,  apart from streaming content from another network device, will I also be able to browse directlyvia the t2200? e.g. I can access the internet directly from the t2200?

Only on via on demand or other future apps . It's a pity when you go to the store that few people know this stuff theses days.. a demo would help !

Agreed.  Its hard to find sales or customer services rep in store who actually know the product these days.  They are few and far between.....That is why I am grateful for these forums. :)

would be nice if it included a youtube app and some of the bigger streaming ones like lightbox but i suspect the hardware may be a factor
