Just bought a unit today.  Any chance I can get hold of the Remote IR Hex Codes?

Thanks!

Or even the network IP commands would be great.  Better than sending IR.

I use an iTach combined with Demopad to manage all of my devices from iPhone or iPad etc.

Thanks!

Hi.  I have just connected my T2200 to the VHF and is pleased to report that the wifi connection worked really well. It picked up my wifi hotspot, and managed to connect to the ON Demand channels straight away as soon as it establised a connection.  So are, I have been surfing  the channels and getting used to moving around the channels so still yet to find out how stable the ondemand channels are.

I have one question though.....can someone tell me how to get onto the ShineTV On Demand with the T2200 box?  It doesn' t seem to be showing up as an on demand app.

The only channels on demand are the TV1, TV2, TV3 and Maori TV

Ah, so Shine, Prime and Choice On Demands aren't supported? What other NZ on demands are there? Maybe Josh will chime in with news.
I'd have thought its in the best interests of any NZ on demand channels to get onto as many devices as possible, particularly traditional TV-esque
devices.

Yep it's a pity Prime didn't get on board, I guess since they own sky, they prefer you to pay for it.
You would think Choice would be available, since they already have an on demand service from their website

That's strange because Shine announced that they are on Freeview Sat 25 and Freeview Plus over the TV.  So there must be a way of getting to it!

Shine TV Ondemand and Choice TV Ondemand are not available on the FreeviewPlus list of apps. While there have been recent upgrades to the websites we have not received word from Freeview or the Broadcasters about HBBTV apps. However once we get any news we will let you know.

This statement indicates that the SHINE TV channel is on Satellite and FreeviewHD via UHF. The term FreeviewPlus can become a confusion with FreeviewHD, does anyone have a link to a HBBTV announcement of Shine TV?
Otherwise no Shine TV app is in the works unless confirmed from the broadcaster themselves.

Couple of things

last night i turned it on and pressed the number 3 button, got a message "no channel" i couldnt used the + or minus buttons to change channels either nor bring up the guide. tried a power off which didnt work, i had to do a rescan of the channels.

also when you use time shift and live pause i find you have to press the pause button twice, as the first time you get the message on the screen saying that you have pasued it and if you wish to exit press stop, but it doesnt actually pause, you have to press the pause button again, which is a little annoying.

i had something similar once but it was when both tuners were loaded up recording and i couldn't swap to a channel not on the sam data streams as what i was recording.

It may be a good idea to have a splash screen when the box fires up until such time as the media has loaded and everything has booted.  You can too easily encounter an issue where the box allows you to send a command that it is not ready or insufficiently loaded for which sends it into a funk, this manifests itself in different ways but has a similar cause.   maybe a boot monitor 0 to 100% where commands are ignored until 100% is reached and everything is functional but the box displays its % of readyness.  even if it were a basic 10 second timer with a quick check of basic functions at the 9 second mark and then allowing input after that ?
