The 576i sample works fine with the Cyberlink 7 codec, its blocky with ffdshow. Audio still not detected in media player classic/WMP, so i assume i have to wait until HE-AAC support is built into Mediaportal, then its good to go.

Has anyone tried the H.264 codec in Nero 8?

I've installed DVBViewer Pro 3.9.2.0 yesterday. I tried before buying it with the TransEdit which had no problems finding channels with a Hauppage USB DVB-T 900 device.

DVBViewer finds the correct channels and even shows the current program EPG data - but then it stops with the following message:

"Cannot render mediafile/output pin, error: 0x80040200 (Specified media type is invalid)."

This is a Windows Vista Ultimate machine, based on a Mac mini (Intel Core 2 Duo), 1.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM. It's dedicated to Media Center so there is no other software running on it.

I am using the Cyberlink Ultra H.264 drivers.

Any idea on what could be wrong?

@MF: Mine does the exact same thing. I just press OK and wait 5 seconds. This usually pops up on the 720p channels for me.

You can buy it from their website. Don't come here looking for warez.

If anyone hasn't seen the new Indiana Jones trailer, I just added it as a sample. They have been playing it on TVNZ SPORTS EXTRA.

It decodes the 720p stream okay it seems, but im only using the trial. Apparently there are player restrictions on what can use it also. 'Borrowing' the filters from the trial doesnt seem to work with nero, as it does with the cyberlink one, which i believe is better anyway.

I might give the nero trial a go then.

I'm only wanting to test if my PC can handle the 720p feeds (as it most likely won't), so I'm not that keen on forking out $80+ on a decoder that I will most likely not be able to use.

Because the pirated version sometimes doesn't come with the most up to date files?

My 3.9.2 worked without changing any settings at all. Have you changed any of the audio settings?

Fossie: @freitasm: Installed Dvbviewer yet?

Not yet. I used their test tool and found the channels...

How did you get it to find the channels? I can't seem to get it to find channels... Other programs find the channels fine.

edit: sorted.
