yeeha.. thats such sweet news. I have been waiting for Prime to be on freeview for ages. Just a question.. Stratos is not the same as Triangle TV on normal UHF is it?

What channel number will freeview be allocating Prime to?

I would guess 9, as I believe 1-20 are allocated sequentially and represent major national channels.

Channel 10 on both DVB-T and DVB-S I am told by their CEO.

So for DVB-S is prime going to be broadcast twice? Or is sky just going to turn encryption off on their existing broadcast?

9 was pre-allocated to Mediaworks.

As mentioned here already they appear to be getting channel 10.

I can't see it at the moment. But either way this is the best early birthday present i've had for a while although i have doubts it'll be fully up and running tomorrow... i don't mind being proven wrong though...

I would have thought that 5 was more logical....10 requires two keypresses (lazy I know) but also for ch-up, ch-down buttons putting it way up there seems silly. Hopefully I can renumber my tv as i see fit
