Jaxson: Reading back it does appear that Dish TV have a habit of releasing products to market prematurely, and then getting free commissioning assistance from the buyer via fault feedback. Seems an unfortunate way to operate, from the customers point of view.
Also, where is freeview in all of this?
You'd think they'd take a closer interest given these products have their name on the front, saying the unit is approved to their standards...
That's a fair comment and observation.
I must admit it's been a bit of a rocky road with it as a PVR (for me), but since the last few firmware updates has been a pretty reliable machine...
I think if we are being honest though there aren't many T or S PVR boxes that are faultless.
