RustyViewer: The Freeview plus page mentions set top boxes that are supposed to be in retail about now. They haven't eventuated yet; however I found the kind of thing we might expect - Smartdroids - which you can buy online. These turn ordinary TVs into Smart TVs and don't cost more than $200.

andrewcnz: I have a 2014 vintage lg smart TV. The same model in Australia does freeview plus. What's the chance it will work with the New Zealand freeview plus? Asked on the lg nz Facebook page and got no response.
