That could be helpful.  Could you try running the TVNZ ondemand App and playing 20/20 for us to check if 1.38 works?

Much appreciated

Bernard

I obviously had to reconnect the network cable to do that but when I tried to watch 20/20 I had the pleasure of sitting through two ads and now have the spinning wheel of death so it looks like 1.38 has the same issue.

I then double checked and it is still running 1.38.

Hi Team

Just to update you that a new firmware update for the T2200 will roll out from Monday 19th June, this will be automatic.
This will fix the issues with TVNZ.

Thanks

Hi all. I just got the T2200. I've upgraded software to 1.39 from dishtv's website. The problem I've got is it won't connect to the internet. Wifi is fine but I have an ethernet connection which i use for Kodi but doesn't work for the T2200. In Auto mode I get all numbers except the DNS one's. T2200 network screen says cable is connected & Network is connected but internet is unavailable. I've looked into my Fritzbox router settings & I can't find anything that may be blocking it. Everything looks fine.

Does anyone know what could be the problem here?

I'm only using my ISP's dns. I've tried entering my isp's dns but still not work. I'm not using any other dns's in my network.

Got me stumped.

Ok I'm Douche bag of the night. Found the problem.

Ya wouldn't know it but I fired up Kodi & that didn't have internet access either. My house is internet wired so I unplugged cable from the wall & plugged it back in & BINGO internet restored. I hadn't touched that cable

at the wall either.

Well first night with the T2200 & I find it quite good. I have mysky but we will be getting rid of that overpriced rubbish after the lions games have finished.

Hi Guys

We have released firmware updates to address the TVNZ OnDemand issue.  Please check and install the following updates (released Sat 17 Jun):

  • AerialBox T2200 firmware version v1.40;
  • SatBox S8200 firmware version v1.31;

If your recorder has not updated, please power off the recorder at the wall and power back on again to force the unit to look for new firmware as it boots.  Latest updates can also be found on the DISH TV Facebook Page here.

HI Josh,

Not really happy about the upgrade process.  It started upgrading in the middle of a PRIME recording and not in the scheduled update time.

Lost the scheduled recording, Lions v MaoABS.

Lost the settings so had to rescan.

However the OnDemand player for TV1/2 etc works fine for me.  laughing

Cheers

Bernard

Hi Bernard

I'm sorry to hear that the upgrade happend in the middle of the recording
I will let the team know if they can investigate this so that upgrades that are pushed through live are set at the time the user requests.
However, I am happy to hear that the TVNZ ondemand has been fixed for you.

Hi Bearnard

I got give clarification that this update was a priority update and must be installed on the spot (unless the user cancels it when the box pops up) all other non-priority updates and fixes come through as per update schedule set by the user.

Hope that clears things up, I do apologise in the inconvenience this has caused however,

@joshhill96

My T2200 got the update, and now TVNZ on demand is working again, however it rebooted in the middle of watching a TV1 programme.  No warning, nothing.
