Has anyone been able to find this in the usual spot on Optus D2?

Unfortunately no, even the Dual/Quad LNB won't do as it can't pick up 152E

Flatmate found a Sat Dish with a Sharp LNB at the dump a few months back, so he brought it home and and I found the LNB still works so its setup now pointed at Optus D2 (152E) fulltime, very handy to get around to big time delayed coverage.

The World Feed on D1? That's odd, it's almost always on D2.

I miss non delayed/paused/timeslipped racing :( And the multiple camera angles/audio streams.

Total FTA FAIL. And theres tonnes of complaints on TV3 forums about it too. Only 2 races this season that can actually be considered 'live' not 'we call it live, case you dont miss anything its just laced with ads and behind the newly free-to-anyone online timing if you use it'

The last induro was around 14laps behind at the end. But they didn't hesitate to show in the sports section of the news the winning passes while it wasn't even at that point on C4 0.o

Soon as discover a spare dish like you did.. I be onto it.

Couldn't watch the feed in the weekend as the picture was using 4:2:2 encoding which my sat box does not recognise :(

I did hear there is a law in Australia where sports like this has to be broadcast on Free to Air TV and its up for review at the moment.
Compare this type of event to Sky's coverage of Nascar, next to no ad breaks and when the USA has ads we are still seeing racing (and in HD!).

DjShadow, you could try raising this problem on their forum: www.fortisusers.com

Thanks, I'll do that later on today.
I'm running an Ultraplus 980HD box, notice new firmware periodically comes out for it but tried flashing it to the latest version during the V8s weekend with no resolution to the problem

You could try asking Jack from Ultrapower, I think he's just commented on a Ultraplus 980HD hard drive problem on another forum question.

I don't know of many set top boxes that can handle the 4:2:2 feeds.

I thought they were working on a new firmware with some other features too so who knows?
