Two months ago I ordered a 1 year domain + windows web hosting on 247hosting and paid through internet banking. The next day I realized I chose the wrong plan and because I was new to creating websites I thought that Windows was required because I am running Windows OS but my friend told me that Linux was more reliable. As expected, I sent a support ticket with high priority to request for a change to Linux cause they havn't allocated a web space for me yet. A few minutes later I see my ticket closed and my plan was still Windows. So then I sent another support asking for a refund because I do not want Windows. A few days later I receive an email saying that they have received the funds. I go to check my services and my account has been terminated. I thought great, they are going to refund me now... but i was wrong. After 2 weeks I got sick of waiting so I sent another ticket to remind them incase they forgot. I finally get a response!!! in the response to the ticket they asked for the postal address to process refund, I replied with my bank account and my address. It has been 2 months and I still havn't got my refund and they are ignoring my support tickets. Please help geekzone, does anyone know where i can contact someone from 247hosting directly?

Heres my ticket history:

edit: Sorry if this is in the wrong category

I just looked up the guy who replies to all of my support tickets (Caleb Finlay) and his name came up on Scambusters NZ and fairgo!!!

I don't think i'm going to get my refund afterall and this is probably not some sort of miscommunication between the support staff as i first thought......

Unfortunately looks like youve learnt the hard way... "seems too good to be true..."

Its too easy for this sort of thing to happen in NZ, someone gets caught out for running dodgy practise, they close down and start again under a family members name and start all over again... or in this case, nothing at all appears to have happened to this guy "caleb/klib"....
