I think it is much more desirable and transparent to pay the currency conversion fee directly. Otherwise you will get into the situation as with itunes, steam et al where we pay substantially more than had we purchased in USD with a 15% markup for GST and currency conversion charge.

(at least I am under the impression we pay substantially more..)

Huh? I don't think anyone forgot their password, there were password issues with the site which resolved themselves the following morning. Multiple people reported it.

1080p: Because all software is written bug free and scales to more than a million members in a few days with no problems at all. I would have expected someone with your perspective to understand teething problems with new software better than most.

Huh? I don't think anyone forgot their password, there were password issues with the site which resolved themselves the following morning. Multiple people reported it.

I don't have anything against the person or his service. I have been pointing out that for a group that have previous experience in large Internet-based services they should have planned better for the launch. This means better resiliency, scalability. There's nothing personal. That's what being a Devil's Advocate is about.

If you think I have something against one or the other then you are wrong.
