If your English isn't up to scratch (as suggested by this post) you'll struggle getting a job unless you have specialist skills. Communication is really critical in most roles, if someone can't effectively communicate with colleagues they're not that useful.
If English is good enough, skills and experience are in demand, you'll find work. A developer with 1-2 years experience might struggle, but a super experienced developer in an area in demand would probably be ok, especially since communications is less important in that role. A general helpdesk / support person would struggle, but a highly qualified network administrator would probably find work. Most ICT departments have people from all over the world - Chinese, Russian, Indian, even the odd Australian or Yank.
If it comes down to you and a local, the local will likely be hired. This happened to me when I lived overseas in Ireland when the ICT downturn was starting. It was often down to me or a local, and the president / prime minister had actually said "hire local", so they did. You can't discriminate in New Zealand, but communication skills is a valid way to determine candidate suitability.
Thanks Timminy for your opinion, my english its really not soo useful "its up to scratch like you said at least my written abilities" its cuz of my non anglo-Saxon origins, plus my wife is from Moscow, soo we basically not use english that much. Normally we use Português or Russian. But I think with some practice I can evolve, keep in mind that I start the learning process of this Language just 1 year ago and I not use it too often "Just on games like world of tanks :)". PS: I have dyslexia cos of that i always need to read everything that i wrote before post it.
About my professional skills.
I'm a "Jack of All trades" I know that is bad really bad thing on our area of expertise.
I have 2 years of experience working with ERP's systems, Last job I was responsible of development of the employee payment modules and financial reports.
Delphi: 2 years and java: 1 year. Both on the same company.
Was a support / hardware maintenance: 2 years of experience and System annalist 3 years.
and
Back on the old days of 2000's I was stakeholder of one team of devs who developed a game called "Bleach Online" using DX7 and VB6.0.
Thats a directly and simple resume :P
______
I forget to add this:
I really want to get my master degree there on NZ, will be great to my carrear and plus I can increase my English a lot.
About work I really don't care of what I will work with it. I just want to finish my master degree and then find a good work and settle in NZ with my wife and rize our family there.
As you can see my friends I am a Brazilian (who my grand mother come from Italy and grand father came from Portugal) and my Wife its a Russian, so my point is, we still don't have roots in any country, we want to settle in and rize our family and NZ its on our list :)
Thank you every one ! Sorry again for the bad English I promise I will make it better!
:))))

Ha, your english is better than my russian so all good.
Check these 2 sites for jobs...
Salaries range from probably 30k up to 200k. Probably a typical IT salary for a developer could be around 90k.
IT jobs in NZ are probably similar to wherever you are from, .net/java/web developer/C. The problem is , that highly skilled people are in demand... intermediate level is probably difficult to get well paid work, or work at all. Nz employers will not pay for training generally.
Just my view though.
Thanks surfisup1000, NZ its on my list, Cuz I can go to Italy (Soil Rights) / Portugal (Soil Rights) / Russia (Family reunion), but i prefer not to, cuz those country already got a lot of attention and plus trouble with migration.
And NZ its on the top of my list, cuz life there looks soo much slower and have a better Quality of life than those Countries.
I came with a agreement with my wife that we could move there to NZ, so I could go back to study and work for half time and she could legally work a full time.
So after 2 or 3 year I will be good to find a good job, with better english and proper IT Knowledge for the Kiwi market.
But my only fear its that after finish the courses find a work there became difficult cuz of inflation of IT techs there maybe.
Like I said, do not want to go there stolen cash from your country (Its whats happen to Brazil now with all those people from Haiti who came here to work then get all their salaries and send back to their country). I want find a country safe and calm to rize my family just that and NZ is on the top of that list :).
My salary here on Brasil its enough. My wife goes every year to her country to vist her family and I can spend cash on stupid things like Pixel tanks on world of tanks kkkkk
The problem here on Brazil its the Violence, Brazil never get envolve in wars, but nowadays its impossible to live here, every day I need to pray to not get stolen by some one with a handgun; I am just tired of all this, we want a baby but how can we?
Sorry to open my self that much, i know that's not normal on maori culture, but on my Italian/Português/Brazilian its normal to do.
I assumed you wanted actual useful information, not a best case scenario. Looks to me like you're a generalist with basic English skills, so you'll likely struggle. That's not a reflection on you, three languages is more than I speak and you're probably very capable, it's just my opinion of what will happen in practice in the NZ market.
Yes timminay I want a opinion of you all, yes i am generalist a jack of all trades master o none at least for the actual market, Like my old boss said to me once: Celio You are a very young relic from the past. Cuz I was hes best delphi programmer.
I know that today its very difficult to find jobs for Delphi and VB6.0, cuz of that one american old friend i have said to me to find a country and then go back to the university there.
and that is what i want to do ! I just want your opinion friends ! I will never forget your opinions ! :)
On another words I will do everything all again!! But thnis time on the right way ! On NZ :)
The NZ IT market is cyclical (probably the same as the rest of the world)... when the economy is booming, there's lots of jobs and good pay. But when the economy is down, it can be difficult. And the economy is down at the moment.
I'd say if you've got any IT job, you'll probably be able to survive. $30K is pretty minimal though.
Having some qualifications (e.g. degree, Cisco or Microsoft industry quals) would be a big help to get you your first job. But you're going to have to be very good to overcome the language handicap.
I used Delphi about 20 years ago, its use in NZ is basically zero. VB6, likewise, maybe a bit of legacy. .Net and Java are common.
Brazilian ERP's Like Tovts and others... Yes Its was Legacy too the only one that was not legacy, was a system i worked here in PHP. But I'm not a Jedi in PHP so I even not use that on my CV :(.
About Java, I Used on the same company I worked with Delphi, cuz Delphi was legacy and Java It was new stuffs.
Then I will needed a Java Certification right ? Then it will be a little easier right?
Just to you guys know. When the economy here was UP, my salary was the same that are today, but every 6 month we received a up on our salaries. The Peak was the salary I got nowadays but no increase in the last 3 years !! the same salary ! :(. Back on the day I was able to make a trip every year to Europe, but nowadays I can just pay a trip to my wife, so she can see her Family.
But the major problem its not even the salaries, cuz here if you have education, you are good, can have a very good life, but other people can't have the same lucky, so what they do ? They commit crimes, thievery and robbery are the most common.
But have a gun at point blank aim directly to your head for three times are a little too much for me.
Then we decided that this country are not a most ideal one to have kids. Moscow are or last option like I said before.
Java Certification is a must have unless you have huge demonstratable experience. It shows you know the basics.
What country are you in?

IT work in NZ sucks. I come from an embedded background myself, C/C++/assembler but also a lot of C# in more recent years,a lot of Delphi as well in the past. The ONLY thing Kiwi companies seem to be looking for are people fresh out of polytech who know MVC/ASP.NET, JavaScript and the whole Angular.js and Node.js hell.
So basically Kiwis are not looking for PROGRAMMERS (as in: a smart person who can solve problems and can translate the solutions into algorithms and code those), no, Kiwis want code-zombies who can glue together 3rd party libraries and generate a website.
