I have re-written the Snap Usage Meter to use the newly available Snap API.

It no longer requires you to enter your password as it uses username/IP matching so that should keep the conspiracy theorists happy.

I have based the look for the new design on a usage meter for ISP Internode (as I'm writing this I realise I should have acknowledged that developers/designers work in the about page, will do so in the next release!)

I hope you all like it.

This is really cool, thanks. Some feedback if you want it:

It'd be nice if the tooltip showed your usage when you hovered over it, for a quick check. Mainly because I don't like the usage icon (the black number on the white background clashes with my windows 7 theme).

Alternatively some customising of the usage icon would be nice, maybe changing the colours or having a bar graph instead.

I'm interested in this Snap API, is it available for anyone to use? I wouldn't mind having a look at it.
