I signed up with two degrees in Feb and got the above phone on a two year contract, but the battery isn't well and I tried to get another one.  I've been told that they are no longer available.  I've looked online and on Trade Me, nothing.  Can anyone suggest a place to find one?

You'd probably need to look at getting one from overseas, ebay maybe??

2 degrees said they only cover batteries for 6 months, so if it dies I'm stuck with the contract. Yet another reason I will never deal with them again once the contract is finished.

However, I went to the NZ page on Facebook for Alcatel and they asked for my postal address as they may be able to help me out! :D

Thank you for your suggestions.  Merry Christmas.

Remind 2 degrees of their obligation to provide spare parts as requred by the CGA, or another remedy for the phone no longer performing.

Plus doesn't the handset have a warranty? That should cover any faults I would have thought, especially since without a battery it is no longer fit for purpose ...

Good luck with Alcatel, hopefully they'll sort it out.

Hows this for quick? I got a note in my letter box today to say there was a delivery for me from Alcatel! They have found a battery. :D
