The chinese phones offer a lot of bang for buck.

I was looking at redmi pro due to its f2.0 lens and sony sensor but reviews say its soft.

Ive read a number of reviews saying the mo G4+ has a good camera, but no idea who makes the sensor or lens. And it costs $150 more.

But the benefit is I have local warranty.

The Nexus 5X has an extremely good camera and is in your pricepoint. Has the latest version of Android too.

I use one as my daily driver and it is very good.
