A friend asked me for help with spoofed spam calls.

The calls appear to come from known and trusted contacts on the device but really it's not them calling. This new Google feature says it will stop something like that so I've turned it on and we'll see what happens next.

Messenger does not have contact access. There were no obviously crooked apps on the device. We removed a few unused things anyway. Am I missing anything obvious?
