The pull down menu takes you into settings, it's not a toggle. I guess TouchWiz does have some advantages.

Is the built in widgit called "Power" something? I downloaded a third party one with another name like "Power" that added all the toggles :)

Arrgghh, really want a flip shell cover...but they're out of stock/don't want it to mess up my order.

Hrmm wonder if I just wait for that bit for when the phone is kiwiside..

I didn't order a case with the phone as I didn't want to mess up the order. Postage from Amazon UK to NZ for cases is pretty cheap, around $10 from memory.

I got the official flip cover from Clove. Replaces the battery cover and is compatible with screen on when you open it. Can't remember the price, but it was on back order and still shipped in two days.

Well the phone was certainly a hit with my daughter.

As already noted the build quality is not as good as the high end phones but perfectly adequate. It seems pretty responsive during the (limited) time I have been allowed to have a play with it.

Went to order a case from Amazon USA and they would not let me ship direct to NZ - seriously?!

Got this one from Amazon UK instead (my daughter chose it before anyone says anything) $11 delivered.

Got the micro SIM done yesterday and have to day - this is a hell of a phone for the money.

Screen is great, battery life is great, runs latest android.

There is absolutely nothing in the price bracket that even comes close.

Sounds a bit ranty - but when looking for a new phone for my wife I ended up spending $270 on a Galaxy Glide (2011, S2 with a sliding KB basically). Did the job but average battery, slow and a bit clunky.

$300 gives you the Moto G - does everything you need quickly.

Sorting out a flip shell and screen protector now as my wife is worried about scratching it.

I see this might even sell at $99 in the US at Best Buy which is MENTAL value.

It's not a flagship - no LTE, not the fastest processor, only 16GB, ok (at best) camera - but for joe (or jane) user it is absolutely brilliant.

Have to agree. I have just come back from the states with mine and I am nothing but impressed. Will be interested to see what it sells for here. I got mine for $275NZD, don't think it would go anywhere near that.

Even though it is a toggle by the sounds of it, still more cumbersome than Widgetsoid. Highly recommended.
