So VOLTE works on Spark, does Wifi calling? Sorry if this has already been confirmed, I went through the thread and couldn't find an answer. I've just setup a new Pixel 5 (on Skinny) and I don't seem to have VOLTE or Wifi calling, and I'll switch to Spark if it means I get both.

EDIT: After a proper read through of the thread it looks like I'm out of luck regardless with a 5 :(

I have yet another question sorry.

If I am a spark customer but my only cell tower (I'm rural) is an RCG tower, can I still get Volte on a pixel 7?

RCG makes rural cell towers that are vodafone, spark and 2 deg all on the same tower. I don't get how provisioning works to individual phones/customers. Does it mean I can get volte on spark but not on 2 deg on the same tower?

Our tower is ONLY 4g and ONLY 700mHz. Can I expect a pixel 7 to get volte on spark from this tower? I currently get volte on my supposedly unsupported Nokia.

This is the only part of living rural that sucks. Not being able to buy any phone I want and expecting that it just works.

Cheers

I just did (Pixel 6 Pro with 2degrees) and it seems to work but not 100% how to test that it does.
Dialing *#*#4636#*#* did show a screen that said Voice over LTE was available, if that helps

Good to know. I will be trying this in the weekend on Kogan.

To test, see if it drops to 3G on a call or stays on LTE. Did you also enable vowifi? if so, airplane mode, connect to wifi and try and make a call.

I just followed this guide on my Pixel 6 Pro on Skinny and can confirm that I now have VoLTE working.

Nice. Will it persist after the next monthly android and store updates. That is a question.

Can confirm that this works correctly on a Pixel 6 Pro on Kogan Mobile. VoLTE and VoWiFi both work correctly now.

Interesting. I couldn't make a call with Pixel 6 Pro while on Airplane + Wifi.

As for LTE/3G, how can you tell? My phone doesn't indicate which band it's using. I only have the little "triangle" thing at the top with nothing else written.
Am I missing something?

Airplane mode, wifi both incoming and outgoing calls worked (airplane mode with wifi - the first time I tried to make an outgoing call the phone prompted me to enable calls over wifi).

For LTE / 3G - with wifi off (the triangle), my phone shows LTE. Previously when making a call, this would drop to 3G. Now it remains showing LTE.

Note - unrelated to this, I did have to put the APN details for Kogan to have LTE work correctly. Before doing that (with the defaulted vodafone apn settings), it would sometimes connect and sometimes not.

+1 for that guide above, Vodafone user. I have VoLTE and Wifi Calling on a Google 6 Pro now. Very straight forward process. Now I just need 5G...

No luck on 2Degrees... Voice Over Wifi still says "unavailable" when dialling *#*#4636#*#*

@gcorgnet I had the same, but I went on flight mode and turned on Wifi and tried to make a call, my phone prompted me to enable Wifi Calling via the standard menu:

After I did that, it worked, and that debug screen shows "Available" etc.

VoLTE is working for me on a Pixel 6 on 2degrees following the pixel-volte-patch instructions. I haven't tested VoWiFi as yet.
