So it appears they went on sale ~8.30am PST and were all gone in about 20 mins...
there and gone again.

Anyone know why us plebs here in NZ can't order it from the play store but over in Ozz they can?? Sounds like economic discrimination to me. No doubt VodaClear / Telecom will have it in 4 months for $1047..

Just the release schedule which you can check out here.
Dates for NZ have not even been announced and I wouldn't hold your breath as they don't seem to sell any devices on the Play store in NZ.

Well my order went through, still says pending, but a hold on my debit card has been placed, and my google wallet has it in there, as does my orders/settings list, and I got a email conformation. YAYAYAYYAYAYA!

Yeah, looks like no one will have stock for a while! Epic Fail there google..

From @MobiCityNZ: @kyhwana We don't currently know when our supplier will receive stock, due to very high demand for the device. ^M

So, what is the speculation on when Google will announce when next shipments will be ready for sale?

I have been trying pretty much all day. Most of the time I get a "Coming Soon" although once I saw a "Sold Out" in red type. Occasionally I got through to checkout only to have the transaction fail due to a "technical" error. Since about 11am I have been consistently getting "Coming Soon".
I did read somewhere that there would be fresh stock in 3 days so Saturday maybe?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Question: Am I right in understanding that an Aussie or US play store will only accept credit cards from their respective countries? If so, how to I get a debit card for either country?

Cheers

I could be wrong but linking your CC to Google Wallet and as the billing address use your ship forwarding service one should work

Leaplae how did yiou do this.  I tried many times with 3 diff cc's Visa credit visa debit and AMEX and all came back with techinical error NO SALE.

I made sure the billing address was my mail forwarding address was the USA address.

I had a phone in my cart two times to no avail.

I rang Google support who told me that they do not sell to NZ and the cc must originate from USA.

Very frustrating indeed.

I too would like to know how else to achieve this.  USA credit card  ?amazon credit card

Any ideas from anyone would be much appreciated
