johnr:

On T-mobile you will only get EDGE speeds

Go with AT&T

John

The problem with that was the cost. AT&T were incredibly expensive for data on prepay. T-Mobile had unlimited data whereas AT&T were charging $30 for 100 mb which was ridiculous.

If anyone is using Jkay Deluxe is it possible to just have the unlock slider on its own?

Thanks

Not that I'm aware, i'm not sure why you would want to, as having the 6 options is key to making this such a fantastic app imho

I've always used Widgetlocker, despite my current rom having the Jkay app. That way it doesn't matter what rom I'm on and it's highly customisable.

madspaz: Installed CM7stable version last night.  Seems pretty smooth and after a few reflashs no errors. Works a charm.  Battery is crap though (havent calibrated though).  Will give galnet miui a go tonight.  Best rom ive tried.  But in saying that ive been overseas for a while and the last ROM I used was Cognition 1.2 or 3.  Sitting around 35% now with 8 hours use and 2 hours on screen time.

Try Dlev's ROM with Siyah's kernel - I can get 3 days easily with light use. . . . it's awesome.

Nofam, did you download the Samsung apps as suggested on the Dlev guides? I cant find it there but was wondering if I need it.

No - I have no idea what they even are. . . .probably the Hubs etc, which I stay well away from. . . .In fact, pretty much any Samsung-related software is off the meny for me.

Thanks, one other question, after downloading the Dlev zip file, do I copy it as is to the internal starage on the phone or should I unpack it and copy the unpacked files over?

No, just copy the zip file to your internal SD card, and flash it through CWM.  If you're coming from a different base (i.e. not another 2.3.5 ROM), do a cache/dalvik cache wipe and a full factory reset before you flash.

Yeah 2.1 for sure - Android 2.3.5 is a massive improvement over 2.3.4. . . . .Is there any particular reason you're sticking with an older version?

Uh Oh, I just assumed you were using 1.3 because of your signature, :) I will start again.

Just to be sure 2.1 or 2.1.1?
