Just out of interest, can anyone who has/hasn't received the update post the CID their phone is registered with? There's a tool called "CID Getter" in the play store that will tell you what it is if you're not sure how to find out yourself...

The reason I ask is that my phone is reporting it's CID as VODAP021, which according to the list at http://www.gsmlover.com/htc-android-os/182358-htc-model-cid-list.html (sorry - I'm not allowed to post links as I'm too "new"), is a Vodafone Australia CID. I haven't received the updated yet and was wondering if THAT might be the reason...

FWIW, I bought my phone new from a Vodafone NZ store...

Got mine from Tekecom a couple of weeks ago.

Interesting! Thanks for posting...I note that neither Telecom nor anyone else with a CID of HTC__039 shows up in that list I posted...I've checked a bunch more similar lists I've also found online and they all appear to be the same...

No the CID is the Carrier ID...My understanding is that this is what is used to "filter" firmware updates so that for example, simplistically putting it, Telecom handsets don't receive updates meant for Vodafone handsets, etc...

Well, yes, except AOSP had 4.2.2 for ages before HTC implemented it for the one themselves...Having 4.3 available for the Nexus devices and Google Play Edition phones unfortunately isn't an indicator that the manufacturer will be able to quickly get it out for the non-GPE handsets...

Hopefully for your guys sake telecoms 4.2 arrives before this!!!

Hear hear! And that the Vodafone rollout completes before then also!!

Nope, nothing of the sort. Did buy my phone the second day it came out though, so it could be an order of purchase thing?
