That's kept it awake for 9m 20s, or 1.9% of the time. PowerManagerService has kept it awake for just over an hour in comparison, whatever it actually is and audiooutlock 6% of the time (music playback i presume)

Yeah mine is a 2Degrees one but with a Telecom sim and I am pretty sure Fast Dormancy is causing wakelocks :( I am trying to figure out how to disable it as Telecom don't support it but it seems to be enabled by default on the non telecom versions at least.?

Does the usual *#9900# not work on the SIII?

Just rang WHS Albany and they said that they have received a few Blues today, which have all gone to pre-orders, and no Whites yet and he doesn't expect them till the second half of June.

enjoying the sgs 3 pebble blue, like the color , very shiny and dark blue, unlike the sgs 1 this shininess is grippy :) ... but have brought a case for it straight away .....

Hmmm, looked at a Blue one today at JB...not sure about the colour overall, though the back of it looks nice and shiny. I didn't get a chance to see the screen on and see the contrast between the blue/black front and the high contrast screen (the White loos superb), might go back for another look tomorrow.

Nope, I will be when I get one - my SGS II is still immaculate and it's never had a screen protector.

i had a galaxy fit until i lost it, and it only ever got two scratches on the screen, because i do viking combat/lifestyle reenactment and it had a run in with a knife that we used to slaughter a chicken lol

How hard are they to cut yourself, without one of those cutter thingies? Is there a template somewhere?

I think it costs $30 to get a micro SIM at a Vodafone store.

I've ordered my cutter from Ebay about a week ago. And if you're living close by Hamilton then I'll be too happy to help you cut your SIM when my cutter arrived.

Lucky. I was told by Noel Lemming my Blue 16GB would be here this week. I just called them and it still hsn't arrived. I might pop into the store on my way home and see if they have arrived since I called.

Nice to know NL are saying something other than 'we have no information for you and you were told there will be a very long delay in stock arriving'.

I just called NL and the CSR told me that they do not have any in stock and will be sometimes after the mid of June though to be precise the date would be 17th June. That is what he said.

talked to my brother today, he's unsure about the +16GB models, they will be in within a few weeks, but he has been told by officals to place all preorders in the system monday morning so they can be dispatched that day to stores/customers for pickup/delivery

cokeman2: no one here is keen for covers or cases for the sgs 3 ??. i ve seen sum drop test on xda and on you tube .this sgs 3 very easily breakable, especially the screen. i ve droped my sgs 2 a few times no damage ...might get sum good cases for it.

i picked up a mercury AV hard white case from an actual telecom store for 18 bucks, waiting for an otterbox to be available, as I deal with paint all day and my weekend activities are quite dangerous for a phone to be involved in LOL

Today I rang JBhifi St Lukes Branch and luckily got news that they have both white and blue S3 in stock now. I didn't pre-book so worried whether I could get one now. Thanks to Scotti , got a blue one this afternoon for $944. Its now charging. Can't wait..

Btw, as per S3 warranty card, it comes with 24 months warranty. However, shop people mentioning about one year. Did they do it knowingly?

The next few weeks will be like a month away at least @_@ few = could be more than 3 right? So July launch in the USA will be in July and will have 32GB version for LTE as well. Vodafone UK has white 32GB version and Vodafone AU has 32GB blue lol. Vodafone NZ has nothing

Just entering into the discussion about case/protector or no case/protector. I do have a screen protector on the S2 and S1 and I'll get one for the S3 too. My S2 has a leather Sena pouch which I like, but Sena don't have one for the S3 yet.

I've been searching and found a forum where someone mentioned the seller of this particular pouch. They have other styles. You can completely customise this from the type of leather pattern, colour, felt inner colour and engraving on the pouch. Because it's custom made it will take a bit longer but it's nice to get something unique and to your requirements. I'm very tempted to order one (or two) or these:
