Deli23: New CheckROM RevolutionHD V1.0 - looks promising...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312240

Just installed. They've been working towards this for nearly three weeks so it's great to see their first collaboration
Running nicely so far, but have had little time to test. The kitchen app works nicely too.

Might need to try it out tonight. Was on CheckRom prior to going back to stock last night.

Now on Batista. Haven't yet looked at changing the kernel or modem. Maybe after the rugby.

Damager: KG3? Hmm might give it a go.. Stock (Telecom 9100T) was KH1.. then tried KH3 ?and I was getting 6 to 7 Mb/s down.. havent had that speed for a while.. tried KG6 then KG5.. now on KI3.. averaging around 4 Mb/s down now..

Okay time to try KH7 and KG3..?

Which ROM are you running on your 9100T at the moment and how is it going for you?

Running Dlev 2.1 and it is very smooth!. The only other ROM i have tried is Lite'Ning, but wasnt for long. The performance on Dlev is excellent for me! Still experimenting with various modems though.

stock XT modem was KH1, so went with KH3 and havent had any complaints about echos.I'm trying everything though.. Otherwise KH3 appears to be the best.

I'm running it with Speedmod K2-5 and it's great so far. :)

The new kitchen app is still a little thinly populated, more mods and themes are due in the coming week. If installing you'll need to add the screen capture mod, I've also used the NZ gps fix here

My only issue was market FC's, but I'm now running version 3.2.0 (ICS version of android market, cwm flashable).

Edit:
Correct link for gps fix added

Have you tried KG5? It's easily the best for vodafone IMO, so I'd be keen to hear how it goes on telecom.

Against the better advice I installed checkrom rev HD over leomar 2.7.1 without wipe and it has worked fine no settings lost.

Feels a lot more snappy and running a few quadrant runs I am consistently getting scores in between high 4400's and high 4600's all at 1200mhz

Thanks to the AndroidNZ blog here's a nice simple method to update the pre-installed swype to the beta version. New skin, improved functionality. I've only been using it for an hour but love it already.

hey guys.. a very simple question (to the extent of me sounding dumb)

If I am to "try" out a new ROM (currently Litening 6.1 XXKH3), I do a nandroid backup of my existing ROM (essential) on internal SD, then if I am to WIPE data & cache to make way for the new ROM (let's say Dlev in this case) wont I lose the nandroid backup as result of the "wipe"?

Is this something as simple as copying the nandroid backup to a computer and putting it back on the phone whenever I want to roll back or backing up to external SD card? Need to be sure any file permissions are not altered if I take the backup elsewhere!!!

Also re. the roboto font, doing it the CWM way as Neets mentioned keeps it close to stock (maybe?) but when the same font is installed through the app (fontinstall) the changes are more systemwide i.e. the most noticable is the qwerty keypad, the font on the keys appears to have thinned down considerably to the point it looks absurd! Well, for now, I have flashed the apk through CWM again, back to stock/roboto. Cant really tell stock and roboto apart in this case, not sure if anything changed too lol
