It feels a huge upgrade from the S3 to the S5. Liking it so far but will know when finally have it setup how I like. Replaces the Windy weather so have my fav live wallpaper back now trying to find where widgets have gone.

It sure is snippy to use. Everything is so quick.

richms: I'm happy with the note 3. Not seeing anything on the s5 that would make me upgrade this early into the life of the note 3

Oh so tempted to get the Note 3. As great as the LG G2 is, I miss the size of the Note screen...Or I can hold off for the Note 4, which early reports indicate is going to be an utter beast of a phone.

Pinch in on a homescreen/hold down the multitasking key to get into the edit mode, then tap the widgets button. The S5's launcher is based on the Google Now launcher, which I am not a fan of. Tthankfully Samsung have fixed most of the problems with it. There are options to disable My Magazine, which allows the homscreens to scroll infinitely, and to toggle between three different scrolling animations.

freitasm: It's not "free". The cost is probably there in the contract, every month...

Nope, actually, I have a lower monthly charge than before by $20 a month and an additional 1GB of data on a second SIM included in that lower rate. So from $159 for 3Gb, now $139 and an additional 1Gb for another sim. From what I see the difference between on contact or open is around $20 a month over a 24 month term, and for that they give you a $1,050 discount if you're with Telecom for instance. I get to keep my old hand set and sell it, plus get a new one with lower charges.

Looks pretty free in terms of hardware or near to it to me compared to what I was being charged a month ago..not Telecom btw.

Q: Are you giving them money?
A: Yes.

Q: Does this mean it's free?
A: No.

mckenndk: Don't know why they like to sell 16GB models everwhere.
How far off is a 32/64GB model?

Just get an SD card

Received mine today after ordering only on Tuesday.

Ultra Power Saving mode is awesome, even for the only benefit in using greyscale. Now to add/restore all my apps, and strip back all bloatware. This might take a while.

Does anyone know where the memory card slot is?
I've been looking at the mobile but can't find it.

That won't fix app installation space issues if you're a power user, and I have a 128gb card with my Note 3. I'm never buying a phone with less than 32gb onboard storage again (my Note is 32gb, learnt my lesson before).

Anybody hear anything in regards to custom Kernels yet? I really want something in the equivalence of STweaks for Siyah like I had on my S2. I'm probs being impatient, the phone has only been out for a day now.

In the mean time, any tips on how to increase stock ampere charging limit for USB on stock kernel?
