avecha: Well the more Samsung/Vodafone NZ piss around with not releasing prices or official dates the more uncertainty im feeling. This marketing trick doesn't work with me so for the first time in 10 years VodaNZ may not be getting my money.

Take a breath friend, the phone was only announced a few days ago! They (VF) likely don't themselves what is going to be the fully story yet.

Telecom don't have anything yet, nor 2D.

Hahahaha, i like having things on release day if not sooner and always seem to talk myself into thinking something will run out.

No, I'm guessing a hoax?

VF needs to buy it for RRP of $999 as a charity/publicity thing :)

Geez man, cardboard, quite a difference :) Battery life and durability are more impressive with cardboard, ask the designers of the new cathedral in Christchurch

Hmm I would've guessed $1099 for the 16GB, guess we wait and see.

Would probably be interested if it comes out at the same price as the One X. Any reason why you think it will be $200-$300 more? I imagine demand plays a large factor in that.

Given Samsung's desire to beat apple at their own game I'm guessing pricepoints similar to i4s 16/32/64gb

Will there be big discounts like at the i4s launch that is the question!!

true. i would expect two competitors to sell at similar price points but then again who are we to decide that. $1199 is definitely not the right price although I have heard figures of $1099 floating around.
