Yell
networkn: So no takers on my white for blue swap with incentives ? :)

lol you can have mine (nah just kidding) - came in the post early Saturday morning - ohhh  so pretty - so pretty it wont even turn on!!!!!  Back to Warehouse Stationery (for the third time!!! that day) to drop off my baby to get looked at.  The manager at the Dunedin branch is sorting it out for me (he was ever so pleased to hold a blue one). He pronounced it DOA  - absolutely no life in her at all - oh well, least there is stock in the Country now!!!!! Did anybody else have their phone sent to them without 2degress sim? (hence all the trips back to WS)

@cybertooth I had it in the back of my mind the SGSIII from WHS came with 2degrees micro SIM but can't see confirmation in the order or on their website now. Seems I wasn't going potty. When you went back did they seem to realise the omission or just took your word for it? Is it a blank one? Cheers

The Y!Tworld icon is the browser, Telecom have shamefully changed the icon to their atrocious, tacky branding. They did the same to both the i9000T and the i9100T, it blew me away when I first saw it. Only NZ carrier to do so, too, as 2D & Voda have been nice enough to let their GSII & GSIIIs escape with very minor, reversible customisations. It makes me cringe to think that, at some point, software updates have been delayed because some poor sod has to change the browser icon to Yahoo!Tworld.

Oh. Dear. *sigh*

I need to find a way to correct this "feature" (without rooting).

year right aye!!! - no evidence of it now page has gone from history - but I brought online (pre-order 2degrees phone) but  when I rang to confirm order (May 27)  I was advised by WS that phone would arrive with sim!!!  - After phone arrived with no sim, I went to WS and asked, and  the assistant rang the Manager at another branch here in Dunedin, to confirm - no problems!!!  Standard/Micro Data SIM Card -  Assistant here in Dunedin not happy with WS online store, and she was going to complain to them Laughing

I'm installing Navigon free from Google Play :) downloading maps now on my Galaxy S2.
For those who has Galaxy S3 you can do the same too. Normally it costing $78 for the application. But it is free because itis powered by Samsung.

????

Google Play tells me the app you're referring to (Navigon for Samsung devices) is incompatible with my S3.

Aahhh, be careful!  That will fit your camera, but not your phone :)

It's SD, not micro, unless you use a micro-usb to SD converter

Edit: Forgot to add, Techworld are good, just round the corner from my place too, no retail store, but the guy seems to ship extremely fast, most probably from Wellington/Auck distributors

My new SGSIII (2 actually) arrived.  Pre-order online with WHS.  They did not include the Micro SIM cards as detailed when I put through the original order.  Nevermind.  I'll have to make a very quick trip to 2degrees in the bitter cold but it will be worth it.
