I wonder what the chances are that HN will allow pickups tomorrow. I guess we will find out soon enough. It's agony waiting.

I pre-ordered from 2Degrees and am picking up in store - planned for Friday 22nd. What are the chances that 2Degrees will secure stock early and I could pick up tomorrow...it's only 2 days but can't wait!

Received track and trace link from 2 degrees this arvo. Phone was picked up late this arvo in akl.
It's on overnight delivery to chch with courier post.
Any attempts at reigning in my excitement have so far failed.

It's being delivered to work with hopefully around a 9am eta.
Fellow note lovers our wait is almost over :)

Have to say I'm a little envious.. opted not to partake in this years iPhone's as it's not much of an upgrade on my iPhone 6S plus.

Note 8 is a really good looking phone but I hate fingerprint readers on the rear of phones.

Look forward to when they work out how to incorporate the reader into the screen so it becomes a non issue

Can anyone that gets theirs from 2degrees via store or post let us know. I might call them a bit later if others have been able to pick theirs up. I don't know how well they are at ringing customers for pickup if it's at the store waiting.

I'm one of those 2D customers who ordered in store and was told I can pick up on the 22nd and that they would call or txt me. As you say, I'm not sure how reliable they would be to contact me... especially as soon as they arrive. I will probably give them a bell before midday to check.

I like how pre-orders often get special bonus's, but I hate how you often don't get the phone/(insert tangible) before the general public. In my mind a pre-order commitment should see you get the product days prior to those who walk up on the day with their cash.

I want note 8 now haha
