I ordered mine today, anyone looking to buy some JBL Everest 710 headphones and Huawei Watch GT?

Join the queue at the moment - the headphones are all over TradeMe and I guess the watches will be as well once the redemptions start being received.

I ordered the P30 Pro yesterday - this after telling everybody I know a month or two ago that anybody that spends that much money on a phone has rocks in their head....  Too good a deal to pass up and I'll also have my current S7 to sell as well to make the price a bit more comfortable.

This will be my first non Samsung phone since the Alcatel One Touch Easy....

Only thing I wasn't aware of was the headphone jack being removed.  What's everybody's fix for that if it is needed? (apart from bluetooth).

I've cancelled my Flickr account last year after being a "pro" user for i can't remember how many years.

Just don't feel Flickr is anything like it once was anymore (that was way before Facebook, Instagram)

Anyway, here is a photo I shot on P30 Pro yesterday, using light painting mode.  Edited to taste to bring out the colour and contrast a bit more

That photo looks really good ....what's the iso settings etc if u dont mind me asking

As for Flickr I have to find a way to move all photos videos of with my internet connection going to be a nightmare

oh haha i have actually deleted my message as i couldn't figure out how to link it to the post.

it only allows me to link with HTTPS which my URL isn't, then I reluctantly upload to the forum and use the link and it still complains :/

oh well let me try to do post the web link again:

I shot it using Light Painting Mode, Silky Water. Adjust the exposure slightly (using the bulb slider) to my taste, colour profile is Vivid

Exposure time was under 1 second, basically I start the exposure and stop it when I love the result.

Remember i also did some light postprocessing to bring out the colour, contrast a bit nmore.

A bit late to the forum.

can someone who has followed the thread let me know what the current best deal is for getting the P30?

I know there's

PB tech with their speaker, powerbank and watch

NL with JBL headphones and watch

Am I missing someone?

Or perhaps you could simply read through the thread yourself?!

15 pages is all... I recall reading through well over 100 pages of certain threads when I wanted to be up to speed on a topic...

take your pick on whatever freebie stuff you prefer, but what ever one you pick the best deal isn't to be had until you include the 2D discount

Do you mind telling me where you heard about the PB Tech deal?  I thought I had read every post on this topic but I must have missed it amongst all the talk about the Noel Leeming deal.

Thanks,  I  don't understand why people get offended at posts like yours. 15 pages are quite a lot to read and even then there is no guarantee you will find the relevant information.

It doesn't offend me, but I do think it's lazy practice to expect people to spend their own time regurgitating information to save you time, simply because of a reluctance to read earlier posts. Saving you time costs others theirs - how is that fair?

It's one thing to read the 500th 'what are the options to expand my wifi coverage?' thread, when many could find the answer by a quick google of other existing threads, but I think it's even lazier to request a repeat of information within the same relatively short thread.

This easy ability to search and find earlier threads is one of the many things I appreciate about Geekzone. I compare this to Facebook groups, where the same questions are inevitably asked constantly, but there's a legitmate reason for that as those FB groups lack the decent structure of threads etc.

2 degrees said they would call me when to come in on Friday. I have already requested my number to be ported. They said around 4 hours

I obviously gave a summary of what I thought was a complete list and asked if I was missing someone. If that doesn't show I've done my research then what would?

Does the deal run out tomorrow or end of today? I have the cash now to pay the 2degrees plan out.

Edit: NVM it seems tomorrow is the last day.
