Motorola: Dual SIM support gives you the option to use the network that makes sense for who and where you’re calling and texting or combine your work and personal devices into one.

Interesting move. Apparently the dual SIM version is due for release in India as well.

Still no indication of which storage variant will be ranged locally.

It's symptomatic of the Google outlook - all the things in the cloud where they can be crawled. While there are some very valid arguments to be made around the volatility of micro SD cards, not to mention reducing the cost of a device like this by providing a lower-storage variant, I do find it slightly dishonest of Google & its subsidiaries to imply that this sort of practice is For The Greater Good and in the name of user experience when less local storage benefits Google much more than end users.

Still, extra Google Drive space is a nice extra incentive to pick up a G as a spare device or similar.

This will have to be the girlfriends next phone...great price if it includes 16GB of storage. Anyone know if this will work on Telecom?

It works on all of the nz networks. Should be fine on telecom.

No, 15GB is the default storage space for a Google Drive account.

The UK model updated to 4.4 yesterday. I've switched my fiance over to the ART runtime, we'll see if she notices any difference or if battery life is better - yes I told her!

The international version from Amazon definitely works on Telecom (I have one).
