Dingbatt: I thought the Apple fanboys were all P&W about the S6 being 'inspired' by the iPhone 6 until I went into a local retailer and saw them side by side. From a distance it's only the home button that differentiates them to my old eyes. That's not to say that the S6 is not in serious contention for my next phone but I want to be confident in how much of the Samsung bloat can be removed andto what level Touchwiz can be suppressed. Having been a long term HTC fan and with them loading more and more of their features onto the Play Store I'm wondering if I can have the best of both worlds. Almost Sense 7 toys on an S6 if that is possible.
was my initial thoughts until I saw them side by side but they are quite different. If you were to say they were similar then you would also have to say that the 6 and 6+ were copied from Samsung and other android phones with big screens especially the Note 4 but such is the competition its hard to have something too radical.
The edge certainly is different but I've never been one to buy a phone on looks its what is under the hood that matters to me and Samsung still are near top of heap for screen and camera for me. The dropping of the ext SD card and removeable battery have made me, for the first time, to seriously look around at what is on offer but after a few weeks they either have poor screens, camera's or no ext Sd or removable battery.
Interesting to listen to those with the I6/+ and how they love the bigger screen, one has tiny hands and bought the 6+ however last year was deriding the Note 4 and 5.0" screens, go figure.
The LG G4 certainly looks good so will be keen to have a play with that when it is released.
