So you didn't have APN backup then?  That's a shame.

Touché Neets. Touché...

Me.

Edit: Say, I may only have 2 friends, (and one of those is my mum) but I appear to have graduated to Ultimate Geek status. That and $4.20 might get me a flat white at Starbucks.

And I see you're using your REAL name now too!  Ooohhhh!!!!!

Whoops. Sprung! [scuttles off to hide in OffTopicLand, a beautiful place of inanity and bad gags].

Okie dokie.  Those of you who flashed JPU via Odin, how long would you say the animated S kept flashing?  I had a media error which I know will be due to using the OPS CSC file (had it before, but had 2e so I could flash CWM and get things sorted).

My S is just sitting there doing it's thing for more than 60 + times and I'm not sure if I should just turn the phone off and go back to download mode (I it's still there) and start again, this time using the multi CSC that came with JPU.  Cheers.

Twenty odd pulses, if I remember correctly. Another totally different number if I don't.

That did happen to me once before, where it hung seemingly for eternity, and in the end I held the power button down for a few seconds which caused it to re-start. I was lucky in that the error occurred seemingly after the flash had concluded. (My big word for this evening).

So I'm not recommending it, you understand. Just mentioning how blind panic can make you do rash, irredeemably reckless stuff.

That really didn't help you much though, did it?

Cheers,
Me R2D2

No point panicking.  I accept that if it goes belly up it's my fault.  Anyway, I held the power and it rebooted but no better.  Took the battery out and we're onto round number two, using the Multi CSC file this time.

I'm keeping vigil with you, the Fellowship of the Inveterate Tweakers of the Galaxus S®. Updates on a minute by minute basis seem to get a decent audience. Not quite the RWC, but close-ish.

I'm officially on tenterhooks.

No need to be on tenterhooks.  We're all good.  JPU up and running with Multi CSC.  CF-root on and now to get CWM working.

Thank you for keeping vigil though :-)

Hokey Pokey??  Nah, I'll take vanilla.  The best with fresh strawberries.  Hubby has his strawbs with HP though, not HP Sauce, though he's def. a fan of that over Tom sauce.

Enter this in the message app settings - (Set message center):
+13123149810

The plus sign has to be there.

Works for me so good luck dude.

Have you ever tried perfectly ripe strawberries with a few splashes of good quality balsamic vinegar?

I've spent an hour trying to get my Product code changed from KOR to OPS.  I've followed my instructions from when I flashed Doc's V9 rom and it doesn't matter what tiny little tweaks I make to the files in the CSC folder, it's a no go.

Time to move on.  I need the phone to look like my phone, and I need to get to sleep.
