Meh just had delivery attempt even though I was at home, they didn't even bother to leave a card.

REALLY hate that!! My driver takes away around 100 parcels a day from here so he tends to look after me pretty well :)  Even makes an after hours run if he know's something is urgent.

He also gets beer at Christmas and a free branded beanie, heh

Anyone upgrading from iPhone 6s Plus to Note 7? Would like to know if there was anything particular offered by Note 7 that got you to change over?

Particularly interested in the battery life and the speaker phone - i realise water proof phones dont have the best speakers (I do miss my HTC One's boomsound - the original One).

Anyone going from S7 Edge to Note 7?

I'm upgrading from a iPhone 6s Plus, I upgrade phones annually, there is nothing wrong with the iPhone as it's still one of the fastest device on the market as well as sporting a premium design. I got the Note 7 because iPhone 7 leaks all point to the same design as iPhone 6/6s and no way I'm going to be using the same looking phone 3 years in a roll.

Ugh getting really frustrated at the 'smart switch' app which isn't working properly! I need to copy everything from my note 5 to the note 7

Had same issue, skipped and done after setup. No problems.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I am. I have never been an apple fan, 100% because of the 'locked' factor. I despise the way apple know whats best for the user and won't let you copy files onto your device.

Unfortunately I had no choice but to go with an iPhone as they simply had the best reception and were the only unit (I tried a huge amount of phones before surrendering to apple) that would keep a connection where I am. (its never a good look hanging up on customers when they are giving you their credit card details over the phone!)

I'm taking a leap of faith here and praying that the note 7 has better reception and also the providers have stepped up their game a little around here. I'll try the note for 2 weeks, if I have any connection issues it'll be onsold and I'll stay with the 6s+.

I did get used to iPhone and to honest I have enjoyed the new version significantly. My biggest issue is the file thing. I have to upload a bank file to our server each morning at 9am, its a very fast and simple job but needs to be every weekday. My iPhone cannot do this. Often i am not in front of a PC as I head to the gym or have meetings. I'ts really unacceptable in this day and age my $1600 phone can't perform this task. So basically i am voting with my feet. There are a few apps and the VR headset that i am looking forward to but these were not deal breakers.  I simply don't like being told what I can and cannot have on my own device.

I expect battery life should be similar and I'd never use the in built speaker on any device to play music. So yeah, a pretty small thing at the end of the day that apple should have let me do.

That's what I'm doing...just keeps saying "connecting to galaxy device" then "unable to connect the devices".

Glad I didn't spend $1600 on this :-)

(Tongue in cheek, cognitively dissonant comment)

Cheers -N
