Wow, look at this, QHD doesn't affect your battery life as previously thought vs using FHD.

Still on "preparing order." The case I ordered arrived today though so I'm ready!

Navstar has been updated to allow disabling the awful gesture hint bar, and reclaims the pixels it was using across the bottom of the display. Another win for Good Lock.

This thing has insane battery life. Used it a lot during the day, gaming etc and I am at 63 percent at just before 9pm

Even better if you use the Light performance profile. I've found that to be adequate for now.

All this talk about the dark mode no longer dark but more dark gray due to the anti-reflective screen. Any insights from current users coming from an S23U?

So, what accessories have people bought for their S24?

I haven't got any, eager to know if there are any interesting ones.

Is that with QHD or FHD+?

FHD, I switched to QHD yesterday PM after seeing comments here that QHD no longer had a significant impact on battery life.

There are different levels of dark mode settings in the device now.  It can be what you're used to, or less like that and more natural.  But the original experience still exists just fine.

Is NZ Post ok for sending back a trade-in to Samsung NZ?

Edit: Samsung FAQ says use FedEx.

Gordy

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

FedEx doesn't deliver domestically.

NZ Post is reliable IMO.

Avoid Aramex.

I am assuming the trade-in is via Samsung NZ?

If so, Samsung provides a shipping label which you print off and it's a NZ Post/CourierPost label, not FedEx.

Traded-in my old S20U for wife's ZFlip 5 in December using the Samsung provided shipping label via CourierPost, no issues.
