Yeah.  PB Tech are a little less than honest in their retail advertizing..  Everything is  xGST even in their radio and newspaper ads..

It's still the best price on Pricespy for what that's worth, and if you're a PB trade customer, the price is quite a bit better. I'd imagine quite a few here would be in that category.

Got the X5 - very happy. How do you edit background images properly though? Right now I have to crop any photo I want to use and then it get stretched and distorted over the 5 different "screens"

Cheers

or get a home screen replacement like Launcher Pro and you can disable the stretching across screens. You still have to select an area of an image using the gallery but if it's 800x480 already it won't crop anything.

Thanks will try that, even when I resize them to 960 x 800 it still asks me to crop the image way smaller and it looks very blurry - weird. Will check out this launcher pro I guess. Or any thoughts on how the stock background works appreciated

Thanks

OK... the problem appears to be that even though I hold my phone in portrait mode all the time, it will only let me crop images with a landscape shaped box.

For example, I go to select an image I have edited to 480x900 portrait so it fits perfectly as the wallpaper and it then forces me to crop it in landscape, so I cut off the tops and bottoms! After that when it is displayed, it enlarges the photo to compensate for the top and bottom it cut off!

960 wide 800 height. Its side sceollable, only central 480x800 seen at a time. Need to expand yellow crop box to fit entire image.
