Has anyone heard anything about these upcoming phones from Huawei?
The X5 is due any time now, and the X6 in the Q1 2011
I had a chat to the guy in the 2Degrees shop in Sylvia Park and he said that the X5 was supposed to be in stock in time for Christmas but there had been a delay. That is one reason that they are trying to flick off their current stocks of U8150s. Plus 2Degrees currently don't have a serious phone for the top end of the smartphone market.
He also said that they were aiming at a price point of around the $300-400 mark, which is seriously cheap for a phone with the specs below:
