Richms says the law doesn't apply to 2nd hand goods - but if Trademe are going to block a phone listing because the phone doesn't feature a NZ plug on the charger anybody selling an iPad with a US plug should also have their auction removed if they're going to follow their own rules.
Are you sure? I think all they have to do is supply an adaptor with the product so it's legal. That seems to be what the parallel importing shops do anyway
