Also after VoWiFi through 2Degrees on Pixels.

Anyone able to confirm if it's working for them?

I'm on Spark at the moment which does offer VoWiFi for Pixel, just need to get back to 2Degrees where everyone else in my Family is...

Simplest is probably Amazon USA or UK, and that way you do not pay two lots of sales tax.

Another way is JB Hi-Fi in Australia, reshipped via AUSFF but that way you pay Australian and New Zealand GST plus relatively expensive shipping.

You can also buy from mighty ape or other places locally, but that is probably the most expensive way, with the advantage of a local warranty of sorts.

If I had a family member in aussie, and they sent it to me via post would I pay NZ GST?

Supero has them for similar price to converting AUD. Though arguably not in NZ I have bought stuff from them before

Yes. The value of the parcel has to be declared and above a threshold customs will automatically charged GST. You should not declare the value lower than actual because if it is lost you will not get full value from any insurance.

YouShop was going to charge two lots of import/logistics fees made it nearly as expensive as buying here. Expert infotech have good prices here in NZ that I've seen

Planet Express in the USA is a good reshipper, much more reliable than you shop.

Has anyone with an 8 Pro actually received the Dec QPR and security update yet, without resorting to sideloading it?

Slightly OT but I just bought a larger item from Amazon and shipped to Planet Express. The initial shipping estimate was pretty high but they had sent photos of the package. Looking at the package I worked out I could remove all the external Amazon boxes and have it shipped in the original manufacturer's box and asked for fragile labels and plastic wrap to be added ($4 additional). This then lowered the shipping cost by 50%!

Highly recommended if you plan to get a Pixel 8 and they are on sale again.

Reading on Reddit it seems the update has been very slow worldwide. I got mine this morning.

Still no wifi calling on 2degrees.
